4path provides analysis of the nails I send, with PAS stain and histopathology, which helps me enormously in evaluating nail dystrophy, differentiating nail fungus from other causes such as dermatitis or localized chronic trauma.
4path has provided phenomenal service to my practice. I am a big fan of the use of molecular diagnostics and believe that it provides an important service to the patients. The molecular tests that 4path provides for upper respiratory and GI infections is a great panel that helps me diagnose the problem much more rapidly than was possible before, often the same day.
